In March 2022, I set out from Davis before dawn to try to ride the 150 km to San Francisco. After starting cycling during my master’s at UC Davis, this was the longest ride I had attempted.
A puncture near Fairfield nearly ended the ride, but Mike helped me get going again. My rear tire failed a second time about 20 km from the Golden Gate Bridge. Friends picked me up, and we ended the day together in San Francisco. I told the full story in my biking journey.
